About the Watcher

Uatu, or, as he is more commonly known: the Watcher, is a cosmic being from the Marvel Comics universe. In the distant past, his race spread themselves throughout the galaxy to monitor the activites of other species. Uatu was assigned to watch Earth and its solar system, and possesses extraterrestial senses that allow him to percieve countless events all over the Earth. Uatu has sworn an oath of non-interference, and therefore, much as we watch a film, the Watcher watches us.
